PRODUCT DESCRIPTION ABOUT PET PACKING STRAP
Polyester strapping, commonly referred to as PET strapping, is the ideal solution when conventional polypropylene (PP)
strapping lacks sufficient tensile strength to fulfill packaging
requirements.
In terms of physical properties, PET strapping is most comparable
to steel strapping. It boasts 25% higher tensile strength than other plastic strapping alternatives, enabling it to maintain
consistent tension and secure loads reliably even under heavy
stress. Its performance remains unaffected by weather conditions or
ultraviolet (UV) radiation, ensuring long-term stability in diverse
environments.
Unlike steel strapping, PET strapping is more cost-effective and
safer to handle, as it eliminates the risk of injury from sharp
edges. For these reasons, it has emerged as the premier alternative to steel strapping across industries.

Type of PET strap according to the outer surface
The surface of the standard polyester tape is smooth. The smooth
surface tape has a much higher tensile strength than a tape of the
same thickness, but with a ribbed surface. Because the polyester
tape is meant as a replacement for a steel strip, it is designed to
withstand the heavy load.
